Why I think church politics must STOP
I couldn’t resist the urge that pushed me for long even if I realize I would end up saying things that –should I say –are not considered to be my personal business.
I also note that by saying this I am adding one line to the already over written book of our shameful dispute that is being exposed to the world because of our carelessness towards the image of Christianity.
The gossips and disputes which eventually have grown to name calling and personal attacks started few years back from nowhere and now they have become a threat to our future existence as a Christian nation. The problem is everybody wants to talk (talk the weakness of his brother and his own strength).It seems that the days of innocence has passed leaving turns to the days of blame and self-centeredness.
However ,After being puzzled by the unexpected outbursts in the continious church disputes I hear and see respected spiritual leaders entertain this act and its cause of great pain to see people who once were considered to be brothers till death calling names and are engaged in virtual wars through public media like magazines and most recently the internet is simply counterproductive.
The push that is stirring many spiritual existences may have been originated from every possible intention……..the search for identity, personal reasons, internal crisis etc…….for what I see whatever added to the list the conclusion is these people are sick and need spiritual help. They must …….stop being engaged in childish political talks in the church of Christ.
I was surprisingly inspired by the Animal farm story by George Orwell to see the link between the present internal turmoil in the Ethiopian evangelical churches and the pictures Orwell has painted .
I am convinced the 1943 story can relate to the present situation very well as
1. The pigs—these are the present church leaders who sell their past status to earn respect And wealth for their today’s life.
2. The little pigs —-who does a lot of talking against the pigs but are completely Absent in deeds they talk and talk because they want to get attention they have No spiritual intention and they have never kneeled and prayed for the pigs they Condemn.
3. The sheep—-these are the innocent animals who contribute nothing to the problems But are troubled by the cyber and other media attacks between the two parties.
For that matter both the pigs and the blamers (the little pigs) are of the same type …they lack love.
What we have forgotten is……
We must all run our ways silently and see each other in the sight of Christ’s love…..blaming others will never contribute for our achievement before God on the Day of Judgment. If there is anything we could achieve it is Attention and applause from others at the expense of the ruined image of Christianity.
Christianity is a world of public silence and kneeling before God…it is not a place for politics and power. STOP BLAMING EACHOTHER AND START PRAING!!!!!!!!! There you will find your peace.

There have been hundreds of books written on the subject of the evidences of the divine inspiration of the Bible, and these evidences are many and varied. Most people today, unfortunately, have not read any of these books. In fact, few have even read the Bible itself! Thus, many people tend to go along with the popular delusion that the Bible is full of mistakes and is no longer relevant to our modern world.
Nevertheless the Bible writers claimed repeatedly that they were transmitting the very Word of God, infallible and authoritative in the highest degree. This is an amazing thing for any writer to say, and if the forty or so men who wrote the Scriptures were wrong in these claims, then they must have been lying, or insane, or both.
But, on the other hand, if the greatest and most influential book of the ages, containing the most beautiful literature and the most perfect moral code ever devised, was written by deceiving fanatics, then what hope is there for ever finding meaning and purpose in this world?
If one will seriously investigate these Biblical evidences, he will find that their claims of divine inspiration (stated over 3,000 times, in various ways) were amply justified.
Fulfilled Prophecies
The remarkable evidence of fulfilled prophecy is just one case in point. Hundreds of Bible prophecies have been fulfilled, specifically and meticulously, often long after the prophetic writer had passed away.
For example, Daniel the prophet predicted in about 538 BC (Daniel 9:24-27) that Christ would come as Israel’s promised Savior and Prince 483 years after the Persian emperor would give the Jews authority to rebuild Jerusalem, which was then in ruins. This was clearly and definitely fulfilled, hundreds of years later.
There are extensive prophecies dealing with individual nations and cities and with the course of history in general, all of which have been literally fulfilled. More than 300 prophecies were fulfilled by Christ Himself at His first coming. Other prophecies deal with the spread of Christianity, as well as various false religions, and many other subjects.
There is no other book, ancient or modern, like this. The vague, and usually erroneous, prophecies of people like Jeanne Dixon, Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce, and others like them are not in the same category at all, and neither are other religious books such as the Koran, the Confucian Analects, and similar religious writings. Only the Bible manifests this remarkable prophetic evidence, and it does so on such a tremendous scale as to render completely absurd any explanation other than divine revelation.
Unique Historical Accuracy
The historical accuracy of the Scriptures is likewise in a class by itself, far superior to the written records of Egypt, Assyria, and other early nations. Archeological confirmations of the Biblical record have been almost innumerable in the last century. Dr. Nelson Glueck, probably the greatest modern authority on Israeli archeology, has said:
“No archeological discovery has ever controverted a Biblical reference. Scores of archeological findings have been made which confirm in clear outline or in exact detail historical statements in the Bible. And, by the same token, proper evaluation of Biblical descriptions has often led to amazing discoveries.”
Scientific Accuracy
Another striking evidence of divine inspiration is found in the fact that many of the principles of modern science were recorded as facts of nature in the Bible long before scientist confirmed them experimentally. A sampling of these would include:
- Roundness of the earth (Isaiah 40:22)
- Almost infinite extent of the sidereal universe (Isaiah 55:9)
- Law of conservation of mass and energy (II Peter 3:7)
- Hydrologic cycle (Ecclesiastes 1:7)
- Vast number of stars (Jeremiah 33:22)
- Law of increasing entropy (Psalm 102:25-27)
- Paramount importance of blood in life processes (Leviticus 17:11)
- Atmospheric circulation (Ecclesiastes 1:6)
- Gravitational field (Job 26:7)
- and many others.
These are not stated in the technical jargon of modern science, of course, but in terms of the basic world of man’s everyday experience; nevertheless, they are completely in accord with the most modern scientific facts.
It is significant also that no real mistake has ever been demonstrated in the Bible—in science, in history, or in any other subject. Many have been claimed, of course, but conservative Bible scholars have always been able to work out reasonable solutions to all such problems.
Unique Structure
The remarkable structure of the Bible should also be stressed. Although it is a collection of 66 books, written by 40 or more different men over a period of 2,000 years, it is clearly one Book, with perfect unity and consistency throughout.
The individual writers, at the time of writing, had no idea that their message was eventually to be incorporated into such a Book, but each nevertheless fits perfectly into place and serves its own unique purpose as a component of the whole. Anyone who diligently studies the Bible will continually find remarkable structural and mathematical patterns woven throughout its fabric, with an intricacy and symmetry incapable of explanation by chance or collusion.
The one consistent theme of the Bible, developing in grandeur from Genesis to Revelation, is God’s great work in the creation and redemption of all things, through His only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Bible’s Unique Effect
The Bible is unique also in terms of its effect on individual men and on the history of nations. It is the all-time best seller, appealing both to hearts and minds, beloved by at least some in every race or nation or tribe to which it has gone, rich or poor, scholar or simple, king or commoner, men of literally every background and walk of life. No other book has ever held such universal appeal nor produced such lasting effects.
One final evidence that the Bible is true is found in the testimony of those who have believed it. Multitudes of people, past and present, have found from personal experience that its promises are true, its counsel is sound, its commands and restrictions are wise, and its wonderful message of salvation meets every need for both time and eternity.

1:50 minutes. Hilary swanks who is Katherine Winter doesn’t believe in miracles–she believes in facts. A former minister, Katherine turned her back on the cloth after losing her young daughter and husband while doing missionary work in the Sudan, and now seeks answers through scientific investigation rather than prayer. As a university professor, she has become the foremost debunker of supposed miracles, called to sites all over the world to investigate weeping statues, wall stains resembling saints and palms that bleed. And so far, there is no divine mystery she hasn’t solved.

a little arguement isn`t that bad
“One month ago, all the showerheads on the first five floors of Sunnyside Towere modified to restrict the water flow to approximately 1/3 of its original force. Although actual readings of water usage before and after the adjustment are not yet available, the change will obviously result in a considerable savings for Sunnyside Corporation, since the corporation must pay for water each month. Except for a few complaints about low water pressure, no problems with showers have been reported since the adjustment. Clearly, restricting water flow throughout all the 20 floors of Sunnyside Towers will increase our profits further.”….
I SAY The thought of the owner that restricting the flow of water to increase saving and profit of the tower is not entirely logically convincing. First the argument assumes customer satisfaction can be fully measured by number complaints; in a world people sometimes prefer silence over complain… Second the argument never considered decreasing other costs of the company such as electricity, amendment costs etc..,. Finally the argument omits the importance of understanding baseline in the process of seeking change. Actually anyone who would want change must start from a point where he cannot accept the present situation and what is the present situation in this case? The writer doesn’t say.
Ultimately the argument might have been strengthened if it focused on minimizing other elemnets of the companies cost, and ways to increase its savings. It would also have been more appealing if it employed other tools for measuring customer satisfaction rather than simply accepting number of complaints reported as an index.

“ከወንዶች ጋር የምታሳልፊውን ግዜ በሶስት ከፍለን ልናየው እንችላለን በዚህ ሂደት ውስጥ የመጀመሪያ ሁለተኛና ሶስተኛ ደረጃዎችን ልታልፉ ትችላላችሁ፡፡የመጀመሪያውና ሁለተኛው ደረጃ አስደሳች እና በእርጋታ የተሞላ ቢሆንም ሶተኛውን ግን እመኚኝ የትኛዋም ሴት ልትቁዋቁዋመው አትችልም፡፡
የመጀመሪያ ሰሞን
ያብዳል ይነጠፋል ይርበተበታል ያለቅሳል የማይሆነውን መናገሩ ይቀላል አወራሩ አረማመዱ አስተያቱ ሁሉም ነገር በፍቅር የተቃኘ (romantic) ነው፡፡እኔ የሚለውን ቃል ከመዝገበ ቃላቱ ሰርዞ አንቺ በሚለው ይተካዋል ፡፡

“እኔ ልነጠፍልሽ፡፡ የዘንድሮ ድንጋይ ደግሞ አበዛው እየመረጠ አይመታም እንዴ?”
ከወራት በሁዋላ
ይረጋጋል ክብሩን በመጠበቅ ላይ ያተኩራል፡፡ስሜትሽን ላለመጉዳት ሲል ይዋሻል መዋሸቱ ከታወቀ እንደመቆጣትም ያደርገዋል፡፡በዚህ ደረጃ ክርክር ይበዛል አንቺ በእኔ ይተካል ፡፡
“የኔ ውድ ሳላገኝሽ አንድ ወር ሆነኝ ምን ላርግ ስራዬ ሁኔታ እንደምታውቂው ነው፡፡ያም ሆኖ ሁሌ አስብሻለሁ”

“እንዴት እንዲህ አይነት ጥያቄ ትጠይቂያለሽ ከኔ በላይ አንቺ አትጨነቂም ግን ምንም ላደርግ አልቻልኩም ስንት ነገር አለ መሰለሽ ስራ ንግድ የጉዋደኛዬ ሰርግ በዛ ላይ አደራ የተባልኩት ነገር…….ኡ ልሞት ነው፡፤”
“አደናቀፈኝ”
“ምን ሆነሻል የኔ ውድ እያየሽ ሂጂ እንጂ ወይ አይንሽን ተመርመሪ”
አመታት ሲያልፉ
ክርክር ጋብ ይላል በየአጋጣሚዎች ብቻ ሞቅ ያለ ጠብ ይኖራል አንዱ ሳይፈታ ሌላ ይደረባል ፡፡
“አዎ አልደወልኩልሽም ልደውልልሽ አልቻልኩም የኔ ጥፋት ኤደለም አትጨቅጭቂኝ

“በህይወቴ እንዳንቺ አይነት ስግብግብ ሴት አይቼ አላውቅም መክፈል የሚባል ነገር አለ ”

“እንግዲህ ጣጣሽን አታብዢ እያየሽ ሂጂ ብዬ ብዙ ግዜ ነግሬሻለሁ መፈክር ከሆነም ሌላ ቀይሪ “
ይሀው ነው እንግዲህ” አለችኝ በመጨረሻ ከተቀመጠችበት እየተነሳች ፡፡
“መቼም ወንድ ሁሉ እንዲህ ሊሆን አይችልም ያንቺ ጠባብ እይታ ከሚሸፍናቸው ቦታዎች ውጪ በተቃራኒው የሚያስቡ፤ የሚጠነቀቁ፤ ምክንያታዊነት ያልራቃቸው፤ ጥሩ ወንዶች ይኖራሉ ለምሳሌ እኔ ከማውቃቸው ውስጥ እንዲህ አይነቶቹን ልጠቅስልሽ እችላለሁ …………”ሃሳቤ ተምታታብኝ፡፡”ሚካዔል? ገብርኤል …?ሳጥናኤል?” ????????????????? ”? ራሴን ጠይቄ ሳልጨርስ ልትሄድ ተነሳች፡፡ ሳትሄድ ማስረጃዬን ለማቅረብ አይምሮዬን አስጨነቅኩት … ፡፡
”እሺ በቃ ቢያንስ የውሾቹን አርሚ” አልኩዋት ከበሩ አጠገብ እንደደረሰች ተስፋ ቆርጬ ፡፡”መቼም ቢሆን ውሾች አላስፈላጊ አይደሉም ቢያንስ ወንዶች ላይ ይጮሃሉ”

ትእግስትን ለማግኘት
ሲጠሩ በጣም ቀላል ከሆኑ ለተግባር ግን ከሚከብዱ ቃላት አንዱ ትእግስት ነው፡፡አንድ ሰው ትእግስተኛ ተብሎ ለመጠራት በመከራ ቁዋት መዛቅና በችግር ቀንበር መደቆስ አልያም በእልህ አስጨራሽ ሁኔታዎች ውስጥ ማለፍ ግድ ይለዋል፡፡ያለበለዚያ እስከግዜው ድረስ “ያልተነካ” ከሚለው ስሙ ጋር ለመኖር ይገደዳል፡፡ለዚህ ይመስለኛል ብዙ ሰዎች ከእግዚአብሄር ትእግስትን ሲለምኑ የሚበረከተላቸው ነገር ተደራራቢ ችግርና እልህ አስጨራሽ ክስተት ብቻ የሚሆነው፡፡ነገሩ ግራ ይመስላል ግን ትክክል ነው፡፡አንድ ሰው ስለትእግስተኛነቱ ለማወቅ በአስቸጋሪ ሁኔታዎች ውስጥ ማለፍ ይኖርበታል፡፡በአጠቃላይ ትእግስትን ለመማር ከተፈለገ ብቸኛው ትምህር ቤት ችግር ነው ማለት ይቻላል፡፡ምክንያቱም ትእግሰት በአስቸጋሪ ሁኔታዎች ውስጥ የሚታይ ጽናት ነው፡፡ችግር ከሌለ ጥናትም ሆነ ትእግስት ትርጉም የላቸውም፡፡
ብዙ ግዜ ሰዎችንም ሆነ ሁኔታዎችን ለመታገስ ጥረት አደርጋለሁ መጨረሻው ግን አያምርም፡፡ትእግስተኛ ለመሆን በጣርኩ ቁጥር ትእግስት-አልባ እየሆንኩ እመጣለሁ፡፡በመጨረሻ ሰአት ደግሞ ራሴን ትእግስተኛ አድርጌ ከመቁጠሬ የተነሳ ብሶት ሳሰማ እገኛለሁ፡፡
ሰዎችን መታገስ እንዲህ ተራራ ከሆነብኝ እግዚአብሄር ሁሉን የሚያውቀው (ክፋቴን ተንኮሌን አለመታዘዜን እርቃኔን የሚያየው) ደግሞ ምን ያህል ታግሶኝ ይሆን?ለመታገስ አስቸጋሪ የሆኑ ባህርያት ያለእፍረት ተሸክመን ቀኖቻችንን ስንገፋ ይህን ሁሉ በትዕግስት የሚያልፍ አባት እንዳለን እንኩዋን ልብ አንልም፡፡ከራሴ ብጀምር ግብዝ አስተሳሰቤ፣ቸልተኝነቴ፣አውቅ ባይነቴ፣ጭራውን መያዝ የሚያቅተው ተለዋዋጭ ስሜቴ ሌሎችም ባህሪያቴ የሰውን ጨጉዋራ ለመምለጥ በቂ እነደሆኑ አውቃለሁ፡፡ እንኩዋን ሌላ አካል ቀርቶ አንዳንዴ እኔው እራሴ ለራሴ እንጥፍጣፊ ምህረት አጣለሁ ፡፡ እንደዚህ አይነት ሆኜ ሳለ ይሄን ሁሉ ችሎ ታግሶኛል፡፡ሁላችንም ብንሆን ከተከናነብነው የታይታ ሽፋን ስር የአለማዊነት ኮተታችንና ጨምሮ ረዥም የአመጽ ባቢሎን ለመገንባት ከምናደርገው እፍረት የለሽ ጥረት የተነሳ ምህረት አይገባንም፡፡ ምስቅልቅል ህይወታችን ሀይል ለቅጽበት እንኩዋን በስጋ ለባሽ እጅ ቢገባ ያስጨርሰን ነበር፡፡
የሚገርመው ግን እግዚአብሄር ፍጥረትን ሁሉ ለዘመናት መታገሱ ነው፡፡ ታሪክን ማየት ይቻላል ከአዳም አለመታዘዝ እስከ ሄሮድስ የግፍ ጭፍጨፋ ከሰዶምና ገሞራ ግፍ እስከ አስቆረቱ ይሁዳ ክህደት ከእራኤል ማጉረምረም እስከ ስቅላቱ ድረስ የእግዚአብሄር ትእግስት ተዘርግቱዋል፡፡ አዳምና እኔ በመካከላችን ያሉትን ትውልዶች ጨምረን ባለመታዘዝ ስንዳክር እግዚአብሄር ትእግስት ታይቶብናል፡፡
ጳውሎስ ለጢሞቲዎስ በጻፈለት ደብዳቤ ላይ ይህንን ሃሳብ እናገኛለን፡፡
ከሓጥያተኞችም ዋና እኔ ነኝ ስለዚህ ግን የዘላለም ህይወት ለማግኘት በእርሱ ያምኑ ዘንድ ላላቸው ሰዎች ምሳሌ እንድሆን እየሱስ ክርስቶስ ዋና በምሆን በኔ ላይ ትእግስቱን ሁሉ ያሳይ ዘንድ ምህረትን አገኘሁ፡፡1 ጢሞ 1፡16
ፍቅርና ትእግስት
ከላይ በገልጥኩት ሁኔታ ሳልፍ ለምን መታገስ አቃተኝ?ፍቅር ስለሚጎለኝ ነው፡፡ ፍቅር ትእግስትን ቀላል እጅግ ቀላል ያደርገዋል፡፡ መታገስ የከባድ ድንጋይ ያህል ቢከብድም የሚወዱትን መታገስ ከገለባ የቀለለ ነው፡፡እውነተኛ ትግስት የፍቅር ውጤት እንጂ ብቻውን የቆመ ባህሪ ዐይደለም፡፡እግዚአብሄር ትእግስቱን እንድጋራው ይፈልጋል:: የሱ ሳያንስ እኔው ትግስተኛ እንድሆን መፈለጉ በጣም ያስገርማል፡፡ ስለዚህ እግዚአብሄር በመከራ እንድታገስ እንጂ ሰዎችን እንድታገስ አይመክረኝም ባይሆን እንድወዳቸውና ይቅር እንድላቸው እንጂ (ማቴ 18-22-25) ፡፡ ስለዚህ እግዚአብሄር ትእግስት እነዲሰጠኝ መጠየቁን እርግፍ አድርጌ ትቼዋለሁ ከፍቅር ጋር ሁሉንም እንደሚሰጠኝ ስለማውቅ፡፡

Marilyn herself, The Kennedys, the government, J. Edgar Hoover, the movie studio, the mafia, her housekeeper, her doctor, or any one of the above, alone, all, or in any combination with the others, have been suggested as suspects.

The collection will include signed, unique printings of Bert Stern’s Last Sitting, never- before- seen in the United States. These photos, taken by Bert Stern, fashion photographer of Vogue magazine, were some of the last captured of the legendary star who died tragically only six weeks later. While some images were published in a well known portfolio, many of the remaining photos have never been exhibited, or made available for sale. This special show will feature some of those remaining photographs. Appearing nude and semi-nude, these portraits, un-retouched from the original camera negatives are some of the most revealing and seductively powerful images ever captured of Marilyn. Once sold, these one-of a-kind-photographs will not be seen again.

Dear God, Excuse me, but why are the their cars named after the jaguar, the cougar, the mustang, the colt, the stingray, and the rabbit, but not one named for a dog? How often do you see a cougar riding around? We dogs love a nice ride!!! I know every breed cannot have its own model, but it would be easy to rename the Chrysler Eagle the Chrysler Beagle!
Dear God, If a dog barks his head off in the forest and no human hears him, is he still a bad dog?
