There have been hundreds of books written on the subject of the evidences of the divine inspiration of the Bible, and these evidences are many and varied. Most people today, unfortunately, have not read any of these books. In fact, few have even read the Bible itself! Thus, many people tend to go along with the popular delusion that the Bible is full of mistakes and is no longer relevant to our modern world.
Nevertheless the Bible writers claimed repeatedly that they were transmitting the very Word of God, infallible and authoritative in the highest degree. This is an amazing thing for any writer to say, and if the forty or so men who wrote the Scriptures were wrong in these claims, then they must have been lying, or insane, or both.
But, on the other hand, if the greatest and most influential book of the ages, containing the most beautiful literature and the most perfect moral code ever devised, was written by deceiving fanatics, then what hope is there for ever finding meaning and purpose in this world?
If one will seriously investigate these Biblical evidences, he will find that their claims of divine inspiration (stated over 3,000 times, in various ways) were amply justified.
Fulfilled Prophecies
The remarkable evidence of fulfilled prophecy is just one case in point. Hundreds of Bible prophecies have been fulfilled, specifically and meticulously, often long after the prophetic writer had passed away.
For example, Daniel the prophet predicted in about 538 BC (Daniel 9:24-27) that Christ would come as Israel’s promised Savior and Prince 483 years after the Persian emperor would give the Jews authority to rebuild Jerusalem, which was then in ruins. This was clearly and definitely fulfilled, hundreds of years later.
There are extensive prophecies dealing with individual nations and cities and with the course of history in general, all of which have been literally fulfilled. More than 300 prophecies were fulfilled by Christ Himself at His first coming. Other prophecies deal with the spread of Christianity, as well as various false religions, and many other subjects.
There is no other book, ancient or modern, like this. The vague, and usually erroneous, prophecies of people like Jeanne Dixon, Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce, and others like them are not in the same category at all, and neither are other religious books such as the Koran, the Confucian Analects, and similar religious writings. Only the Bible manifests this remarkable prophetic evidence, and it does so on such a tremendous scale as to render completely absurd any explanation other than divine revelation.
Unique Historical Accuracy
The historical accuracy of the Scriptures is likewise in a class by itself, far superior to the written records of Egypt, Assyria, and other early nations. Archeological confirmations of the Biblical record have been almost innumerable in the last century. Dr. Nelson Glueck, probably the greatest modern authority on Israeli archeology, has said:
“No archeological discovery has ever controverted a Biblical reference. Scores of archeological findings have been made which confirm in clear outline or in exact detail historical statements in the Bible. And, by the same token, proper evaluation of Biblical descriptions has often led to amazing discoveries.”
Scientific Accuracy
Another striking evidence of divine inspiration is found in the fact that many of the principles of modern science were recorded as facts of nature in the Bible long before scientist confirmed them experimentally. A sampling of these would include:
- Roundness of the earth (Isaiah 40:22)
- Almost infinite extent of the sidereal universe (Isaiah 55:9)
- Law of conservation of mass and energy (II Peter 3:7)
- Hydrologic cycle (Ecclesiastes 1:7)
- Vast number of stars (Jeremiah 33:22)
- Law of increasing entropy (Psalm 102:25-27)
- Paramount importance of blood in life processes (Leviticus 17:11)
- Atmospheric circulation (Ecclesiastes 1:6)
- Gravitational field (Job 26:7)
- and many others.
These are not stated in the technical jargon of modern science, of course, but in terms of the basic world of man’s everyday experience; nevertheless, they are completely in accord with the most modern scientific facts.
It is significant also that no real mistake has ever been demonstrated in the Bible—in science, in history, or in any other subject. Many have been claimed, of course, but conservative Bible scholars have always been able to work out reasonable solutions to all such problems.
Unique Structure
The remarkable structure of the Bible should also be stressed. Although it is a collection of 66 books, written by 40 or more different men over a period of 2,000 years, it is clearly one Book, with perfect unity and consistency throughout.
The individual writers, at the time of writing, had no idea that their message was eventually to be incorporated into such a Book, but each nevertheless fits perfectly into place and serves its own unique purpose as a component of the whole. Anyone who diligently studies the Bible will continually find remarkable structural and mathematical patterns woven throughout its fabric, with an intricacy and symmetry incapable of explanation by chance or collusion.
The one consistent theme of the Bible, developing in grandeur from Genesis to Revelation, is God’s great work in the creation and redemption of all things, through His only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Bible’s Unique Effect
The Bible is unique also in terms of its effect on individual men and on the history of nations. It is the all-time best seller, appealing both to hearts and minds, beloved by at least some in every race or nation or tribe to which it has gone, rich or poor, scholar or simple, king or commoner, men of literally every background and walk of life. No other book has ever held such universal appeal nor produced such lasting effects.
One final evidence that the Bible is true is found in the testimony of those who have believed it. Multitudes of people, past and present, have found from personal experience that its promises are true, its counsel is sound, its commands and restrictions are wise, and its wonderful message of salvation meets every need for both time and eternity.

Although actual readings of water usage before and after the adjustment are not yet available, the change will obviously result in a considerable savings for Sunnyside Corporation, since the corporation must pay for water each month. Except for a few complaints about low water pressure, no problems with showers have been reported since the adjustment. Clearly, restricting water flow throughout all the 20 floors of Sunnyside Towers will increase our profits further.”….
I SAY The thought of the owner that restricting the flow of water to increase saving and profit of the tower is not entirely logically convincing. First the argument assumes customer satisfaction can be fully measured by number complaints; in a world people sometimes prefer silence over complain… Second the argument never considered decreasing other costs of the company such as electricity, amendment costs etc..,. Finally the argument omits the importance of understanding baseline in the process of seeking change. Actually anyone who would want change must start from a point where he cannot accept the present situation and what is the present situation in this case? The writer doesn’t say.
Ultimately the argument might have been strengthened if it focused on minimizing other elemnets of the companies cost, and ways to increase its savings. It would also have been more appealing if it employed other tools for measuring customer satisfaction rather than simply accepting number of complaints reported as an index.

Economists say rescue plan still needs work
Academic experts say government’s approach comes up short
Economists generally agree that the plan has been improved by changes made by the House and Senate to the original three-page plan proposed last week by Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson. But they still have concerns and misgivings.
Some center on the basic question: Will the government’s plan work? Even the plan’s backers on Capitol Hill say there’s no way to know.
“I suspect it’s not going to solve our problem,” said Charles Jones, a finance professor at Columbia University.
The centerpiece of the rescue package is a plan to buy up billions of dollars in mortgage-backed securities that banks can’t sell because nobody knows how much they’re worth.
The hope is that by jump-starting this market with government money, the price of these troubled assets will become clearer, and private investors will come in and start buying the assets as well. Though the Treasury has been tight-lipped about “implementation” issues, the process is widely expected to involve an auction. Holders of troubled assets would offer the sell them to the Treasury, which would buy the cheapest assets first.
“The question in my mind is what happens after the auctions?” said Chester Spatt, a Carnegie Mellon economics professor and former chief economist for the Securities and Exchange Commission. “Will the market forces be able to sustain those higher price levels? I don’t think the policymakers have done a particularly good job articulating why the prices are going to stay at the level the government pays.”
Economists have many more questions. Who will be eligible to sell troubled assets? Who will choose which bids to accept? Will the money be spent all at once or in smaller installments? Treasury officials have deflected these questions from reporters.
“The main concern is that there is not enough specificity about several things,” said Thomas Cooley, dean of the Stern School of Business at New York University. “One is: How are the prices of these assets going to determined?”
The question is more than academic. If the government pays too little for these troubled assets, it could force banks to assign an even lower market value for their holdings of bad debts, forcing them to take further write-downs and book more losses. On the other hand, if the government pays too much, it will amount to a bank subsidy paid with tax dollars.

ትእግስትን ለማግኘት
ሲጠሩ በጣም ቀላል ከሆኑ ለተግባር ግን ከሚከብዱ ቃላት አንዱ ትእግስት ነው፡፡አንድ ሰው ትእግስተኛ ተብሎ ለመጠራት በመከራ ቁዋት መዛቅና በችግር ቀንበር መደቆስ አልያም በእልህ አስጨራሽ ሁኔታዎች ውስጥ ማለፍ ግድ ይለዋል፡፡ያለበለዚያ እስከግዜው ድረስ “ያልተነካ” ከሚለው ስሙ ጋር ለመኖር ይገደዳል፡፡ለዚህ ይመስለኛል ብዙ ሰዎች ከእግዚአብሄር ትእግስትን ሲለምኑ የሚበረከተላቸው ነገር ተደራራቢ ችግርና እልህ አስጨራሽ ክስተት ብቻ የሚሆነው፡፡ነገሩ ግራ ይመስላል ግን ትክክል ነው፡፡አንድ ሰው ስለትእግስተኛነቱ ለማወቅ በአስቸጋሪ ሁኔታዎች ውስጥ ማለፍ ይኖርበታል፡፡በአጠቃላይ ትእግስትን ለመማር ከተፈለገ ብቸኛው ትምህር ቤት ችግር ነው ማለት ይቻላል፡፡ምክንያቱም ትእግሰት በአስቸጋሪ ሁኔታዎች ውስጥ የሚታይ ጽናት ነው፡፡ችግር ከሌለ ጥናትም ሆነ ትእግስት ትርጉም የላቸውም፡፡
ብዙ ግዜ ሰዎችንም ሆነ ሁኔታዎችን ለመታገስ ጥረት አደርጋለሁ መጨረሻው ግን አያምርም፡፡ትእግስተኛ ለመሆን በጣርኩ ቁጥር ትእግስት-አልባ እየሆንኩ እመጣለሁ፡፡በመጨረሻ ሰአት ደግሞ ራሴን ትእግስተኛ አድርጌ ከመቁጠሬ የተነሳ ብሶት ሳሰማ እገኛለሁ፡፡
ሰዎችን መታገስ እንዲህ ተራራ ከሆነብኝ እግዚአብሄር ሁሉን የሚያውቀው (ክፋቴን ተንኮሌን አለመታዘዜን እርቃኔን የሚያየው) ደግሞ ምን ያህል ታግሶኝ ይሆን?ለመታገስ አስቸጋሪ የሆኑ ባህርያት ያለእፍረት ተሸክመን ቀኖቻችንን ስንገፋ ይህን ሁሉ በትዕግስት የሚያልፍ አባት እንዳለን እንኩዋን ልብ አንልም፡፡ከራሴ ብጀምር ግብዝ አስተሳሰቤ፣ቸልተኝነቴ፣አውቅ ባይነቴ፣ጭራውን መያዝ የሚያቅተው ተለዋዋጭ ስሜቴ ሌሎችም ባህሪያቴ የሰውን ጨጉዋራ ለመምለጥ በቂ እነደሆኑ አውቃለሁ፡፡ እንኩዋን ሌላ አካል ቀርቶ አንዳንዴ እኔው እራሴ ለራሴ እንጥፍጣፊ ምህረት አጣለሁ ፡፡ እንደዚህ አይነት ሆኜ ሳለ ይሄን ሁሉ ችሎ ታግሶኛል፡፡ሁላችንም ብንሆን ከተከናነብነው የታይታ ሽፋን ስር የአለማዊነት ኮተታችንና ጨምሮ ረዥም የአመጽ ባቢሎን ለመገንባት ከምናደርገው እፍረት የለሽ ጥረት የተነሳ ምህረት አይገባንም፡፡ ምስቅልቅል ህይወታችን ሀይል ለቅጽበት እንኩዋን በስጋ ለባሽ እጅ ቢገባ ያስጨርሰን ነበር፡፡
የሚገርመው ግን እግዚአብሄር ፍጥረትን ሁሉ ለዘመናት መታገሱ ነው፡፡ ታሪክን ማየት ይቻላል ከአዳም አለመታዘዝ እስከ ሄሮድስ የግፍ ጭፍጨፋ ከሰዶምና ገሞራ ግፍ እስከ አስቆረቱ ይሁዳ ክህደት ከእራኤል ማጉረምረም እስከ ስቅላቱ ድረስ የእግዚአብሄር ትእግስት ተዘርግቱዋል፡፡ አዳምና እኔ በመካከላችን ያሉትን ትውልዶች ጨምረን ባለመታዘዝ ስንዳክር እግዚአብሄር ትእግስት ታይቶብናል፡፡
ጳውሎስ ለጢሞቲዎስ በጻፈለት ደብዳቤ ላይ ይህንን ሃሳብ እናገኛለን፡፡
ከሓጥያተኞችም ዋና እኔ ነኝ ስለዚህ ግን የዘላለም ህይወት ለማግኘት በእርሱ ያምኑ ዘንድ ላላቸው ሰዎች ምሳሌ እንድሆን እየሱስ ክርስቶስ ዋና በምሆን በኔ ላይ ትእግስቱን ሁሉ ያሳይ ዘንድ ምህረትን አገኘሁ፡፡1 ጢሞ 1፡16
ፍቅርና ትእግስት
ከላይ በገልጥኩት ሁኔታ ሳልፍ ለምን መታገስ አቃተኝ?ፍቅር ስለሚጎለኝ ነው፡፡ ፍቅር ትእግስትን ቀላል እጅግ ቀላል ያደርገዋል፡፡ መታገስ የከባድ ድንጋይ ያህል ቢከብድም የሚወዱትን መታገስ ከገለባ የቀለለ ነው፡፡እውነተኛ ትግስት የፍቅር ውጤት እንጂ ብቻውን የቆመ ባህሪ ዐይደለም፡፡እግዚአብሄር ትእግስቱን እንድጋራው ይፈልጋል:: የሱ ሳያንስ እኔው ትግስተኛ እንድሆን መፈለጉ በጣም ያስገርማል፡፡ ስለዚህ እግዚአብሄር በመከራ እንድታገስ እንጂ ሰዎችን እንድታገስ አይመክረኝም ባይሆን እንድወዳቸውና ይቅር እንድላቸው እንጂ (ማቴ 18-22-25) ፡፡ ስለዚህ እግዚአብሄር ትእግስት እነዲሰጠኝ መጠየቁን እርግፍ አድርጌ ትቼዋለሁ ከፍቅር ጋር ሁሉንም እንደሚሰጠኝ ስለማውቅ፡፡

i just finished reading paulos fikadu`s new book“yaltenkuwaku beroch“ i am always amused with his articles (they are artistic and spiritual at the same time??? both funny and compellinng at times…) and i should say thisbook is a huge step against our church`s long held norm ,culture and even national attitude .i feel proud to be able to and i say “it is a the door bell ring for the must-come evolution and restoration to the Ethiopian evangelical church“ he is showing us there is a possibility of dual-existance between radicalism and conservatism.his natural approach has entertained me a lot and his conservative ideas have challenged my life style along with my generation`s. i thank him for the opportunity his book gave me to experience the beauty of truth said aloud with out fear..after all who would really knock these doors if he didnt???????? i dobt somebody would..hope he keeps up with it.

The collection will include signed, unique printings of Bert Stern’s Last Sitting, never- before- seen in the United States. These photos, taken by Bert Stern, fashion photographer of Vogue magazine, were some of the last captured of the legendary star who died tragically only six weeks later. While some images were published in a well known portfolio, many of the remaining photos have never been exhibited, or made available for sale. This special show will feature some of those remaining photographs. Appearing nude and semi-nude, these portraits, un-retouched from the original camera negatives are some of the most revealing and seductively powerful images ever captured of Marilyn. Once sold, these one-of a-kind-photographs will not be seen again.

How often do you see a cougar riding around? We dogs love a nice ride!!! I know every breed cannot have its own model, but it would be easy to rename the Chrysler Eagle the Chrysler Beagle!

ሰኞን በአይምሮዬ ስስለው እድለቢስ ልጅ ይመስለኛል-የመጀመሪያና እድለቢስ ልጅ፡፡ ይሰራሉ የሚባሉትን ስህተቶች ሁሉ ሰርቶ ዋጋውን እየተቀበለ ለሌሎች ምሳሌ የሚሆን ምስኪን መቀጣጫ ልጅ ፡፡ እንደዚህ አይነት ሰዎችን ማግኘት ከባድ አይደለም ፡፡ በእለት ተእለት ህይወታችን ውስጥ ከበቂ በላይ በሚባል ቁጥር በዙሪያችን ይገኛሉ ፡፡ በቀላሉ እንድንለያቸው የሚያስችለው ዋና ባህርያቸው ደግሞ በሞክሮ ማየት (trial and error) የሚያምኑ መሆናቸው ነው፡፡ ማንኛውንም ነገር ከመሞከር ወደሁዋላ አይሉም በአጭሩ ተንቀሳቃሽና የሚተነፍሱ ቤተሙከራዎች ናቸው ፡፡ በዚህ ሂደት ውስጥ የትኛውም ጉዳት ሊያጋጥማቸው ይችላል መውደቅ መሰበር ማዘን መቆዘም ማልቀስ የግላቸው ሲሆን አንዳንዴ ጉዳቱ ሞትምንም ይጨምራል (ስጋዊ ሞት ማለቴ ነው የመንፈሱንማ እግዜር ይቁጠረው) ዕያንዳንዱ ቀን የራሱ ደስታም ሆነ ውርደት አስከትሎባቸው እንጂ ባዶ እጁን አይመጣም አነሱም አያርሜ በመሆናቸው ሁሉን እንዳመጣጡ ያስተናግዱታል፡፡ እኔም ብሆን ጉዋደኛ-ብዙ ነኝና በርካታ ሰኞዎች ያጋጥሙኛል፡፡ከነሱም ውስጥ አንዱዋ ወዳጄ ትገኝበታለች፡፡ይህች ልጅ አንዲት ሴት ትሰራዋለች የሚባሉትን ስህተቶች ሁሉ በአይኔ በብረቱ እያየሁዋት በየእለቱ ትፈጽማለች፡፡ገና በጠዋት እግርዋ ከቤት ሲወጣ እናትየው በስጋት እስከውጭው በር በአይናቸው ይሸኟታል አባትየውም ቢሆኑ አፋቸው አያርፍም ፡፡ ምንም እንኩዋን ለውጥ እንደማያመጡ ቢያውቁትም ለበሁዋላ “ብዬ ነበር“ እንዲያመቻቸው የጎሪጥ እያዩዋት “ዛሬ ደግሞ ምኑን ጉድ ልታመጪ ይሆን አረ ተይ አንቺ ልጅ ረጋ በይ!“ ብለው ስራቸውን ይቀጥላሉ ለነገሩ ንግግሮቹ በልጅትዋ የየቀን ህይወት ውስጥ የሚደጋገሙ ስለሆኑ ልብ ብላውቸም አታውቅ እውነቱን እንነጋገር ከተባለም እሱዋ ምንም ጥፋት የለባትም :: ቢኖርባትም አንድ ብቻ ነው ፡፡ ሰዎችን ከእግዚአብሄር በላይ ትወዳለች (ታመልካለች ማለቱ ይቀላል) ታዲያ እነዚሁ ተወዳጅ ሰዎች ለፍቅሩዋ ምላሽ ጥላቻን ለታማኝነትዋ ክህደትን በዚሁ ለተጎዳ ስሜትዋ ደግሞ መርዝ ቃላትን ያበረክቱላታል፤፤እዛው አጠገብዋ የነበርኩት እኔ ደግሞ ስታለቅስ እንባዋ ተረጭቶብኝ በንዴት ግርግዳ ስትቡዋጥጥ ጆሮዬን ሰቅጥጦኝ በብስጭት የቤት እቃዎችዋን ስትሰባብር በሱዋ መንገድ ዝር ላለማለት ምዬ ነበር (ምንም እንኩዋን መሃላዬን ባልጠብቅም)
ከሰኞ በአንድ እርከን እድል ከፍ የሚለው ማክሰኞ ከሰኞ አይቶ የተማራቸው ብዙ ነገሮች እንዳሉ ያስባል፡፡ማክሰኞ ሲናገሩት አይወድም፡፡ ማክሰኞ አትንኩኝ ከሰኞ እሻላለሁ ፃዲቅ ነኝ ባይ ነው፡፡ ይሄ ምስኪን ትንሽ አውቆ ብዙ የሚያውቅ ስለሚመስለው አራሱን የተሸለ አርጎ የሚቆጥር ፣የሰኞን ስህተቶች ቆሞ ለማየት ትእግስት የሌለው፣ በሰኞ የቀሩትን ስህተቶች ከሞላ ጎደል እየሰራ ከነውጤታቸው የሚቀፈቅፍ ከወንድሙ ያልተለየ እድለ ሰንካላ ነው፡፡ማክሰኞዎች በዛ ሲሉ ደግሞ በጣም አስቂኝ ናቸው ዋናው መገለጫቸው ጥራዝ ነጠቅ አስተሳሰባቸውና ከልክ ያለፈው በስህተታቸው የመተማመን ባህሪያቸው ነው (እርስ በርስ አለመስማማታቸውም ሌላው ታርጋቸው መሆኑ አይዘንጋ ሁሉም አዋቂ ስለሆነ ጥል የማይቀር ጉዳይ ነው) እነዚህ ሰዎች ሰኞዎችን ሰብስበው ማስተማር ወይም የሕይወት ልምዳቸውን ማካፈል ሊቃጣቸውም ይችላል ፡፡ ሁሌ የሚያስቡት ከሰኞ መሻላቸውን ብቻ ነዋ (ጌታ ሆይ እንደዚያ ቀራጭ ስላላረከኝ አመሰግናለሁ አንዳለው ነው ሰውየው)
በዚሁ ሁኔታ ቀኖቹ አልፈው አርብ ጋር ሲደርሱ ነገሮች ይለወጣሉ፡፡ ከማየት ብቻ የተማሩ፤ ሳይጣዱ የበሰሉ፤ የነሰኞን ግብር ከነደሞዛቸው ያሰሉ ተጠራጣሪና ንቁ ልጆች ናቸው አርቦች ፡፡ እነዚህን ልጆች እድል ከሑዋላ አሰልፋቸው መሰንበት ጠንካራ ምሽግ አስጠግታቸው ጦርነቱን እጅእጅ እስኪላቸው አሳይታቸዋለችና መቼም ቢሆን ድብልቅልቁ ውስጥ ለመግባት አይከጅሉም የሩቅ ታዛቢዎች ናቸው፡፡ በእርሻ ምጣኔ ሀብት ጥናት ላይ ከልክ በላይ ክፉን የሚፈሩ ገበሬዎች (risk-averse peasants) እንዳሉ ይነገራል ገበሬዎቹ ከሌሎች ጎረቤቶቻቸው ተለይተው የሚታወቁት ለትርፍ ከሚንቀሳቀሱና ችግርን ከማይፈሩ ገበሬዎች (risk-prone peasants) በተለየ መልኩ ከችግር የተጠበቁና የምግብ ዕጥረት የማይነካቸው በመሆናቸው ነው፡፡ እርግጥ ነው ትርፍም ኖሩዋቸው አያውቅም ግን መቼም አይጎድላቸውም፡፡ በአብዛኛው ከአካባቢያቸው ኗሪዎች አንጻር ደግሞ ኑሮዋቸውም በመካከለኛ የገቢ ደረጃ የሚገመት ነው፡፡ ጎረቤቶቻቸው ተርፎዋቸው ሲንበሸበሹም ሆነ የምግብ እጥረት ሲያጋጥማቸው እነዚህኞቹን ጉድለቱንም ሆነ ትርፉ አያሳሳቸውም ፡፡ ምክንያታቸው በሌሎች ላይ ሲደርስ የሚያዩት ነገር እንዳይደርስባቸው ያላቸው ፍራቻ ብቻ ነው ፡፡በየእለቱ የሚታዩዋቸው የሚከብቡዋቸው ፍራቻዎች ብቻ ናቸው (የአየር ጸባይ ለውጥ ፍራቻዎች የጸረ እህል ተባዮችና የሌሎች በሽታዎች ፍራቻዎች፡የተፈጥሮዊ አደጋ ፍራቻዎች የመንግስት ጣልቃገብነት ፍራቻዎች የገበያ አለመረጋጋት ፍራቻዎች የመሬት አገዛዝ ስርአትና አልፎ አልፎም የጦርነት ፍራቻዎች) ተደማምረው እነዚህን ገበሬዎች ከመጠን ያለፈ ጥንቃቄ ማድረግን አስተምረዋቸዋል ስለዚህ ሰዎቹን ከትርፍ ይልቅ የመኖር ሀሳብ ያጉዋጉዋቸዋል ለተሻለ ገቢ ሲሉ የቤተሰባቸውን ህይወት አደጋ ላይ መጣል ፈጽሞ የማያስቡት ነገር ነው ከጎረቤቶቻቸው ደህና አርገው ተምረዋልና፡፡
““ሰኞን አታድርገኝ” ይላሉ” አሉ ብልጣብልጦቹ አባቶቻችን፡፡ ለልብ የሚዘልቅ ተማፅኖ ነው ፡፡ ተራቾቹ የሰው ልጅ እጣ ፈንታ ጉዳይ፡ ስሜታቸውን ይሞግት ሃሳባቸውን ይጠይቅ እንደነበር አልጠራጠርም፡፡እንኩዋን እነሱን ቀርቶ ሳይንስ ብዙ ጥያቄዎቻችን መልሱዋል የህይወት ቁዋጠሮዎቻችንንም ፈትቱዋል ተብሎ በሚታሰብበት በ20ኛው ክፍለዘመን የተወለድኩትን እኔን እንኩዋን “በሰው ልጅ ህይወት ውስጥ እድል ቦታ አለው ወይ?” የሚለው ጥያቄ ሲከራከረኝ ኖሩዋል፡፡የአንዳንድ እድለቢሶች የተጣመመ የህይወት መስመርና የአንዳንድ እግረ እርጥቦች ማይታመን እድል ጥያቄውን ደግሜ ደጋግሜ እንድጠይቅ አድርጎኛል፡፡የመጨረሻው መልስ ግን አጭርና ግልጽ ሆኖ ነው ያገኘሁት ፡፡ ዛሬ እኔ በእድል አምናለሁ፡ እንደ አልበርት አንስታይን ከሆነ ደግሞ ሶስቱ የስኬት መርሆች እድል፣ ስራና አፍን መዝጋት ናቸው፡፡
እኛ የአዲስ ኪዳን ሰዎች የሰዎችን ህይወት አይተን ብቻ ያለምንም ጉዳት ዕንድንማር እድሉ በቅዱስ ቃሉ ተሰጥቶናል፡፡በመፅኃፉ በጉልህ የተሳሉት የእግዚአብሄር ሰዎች በክብራቸው ብቻ ሳይሆን በውድቀታቸውም በጽድቃቸው ብቻ ሳይሆን በስህተታቸውም በደስታቸው ብቻ ሳይሆን በሃዘናቸውም የኛን ሽንፈት አትድገሙት እያሉ ዛሬም ይጮሃሉ፡፡ እንካችሁ እድል ይሉናል፡፡ እና ከኛ በላይ እድለኛ አለ? ከኛ በላይስ የአርብ ገድ የተሰጠው ከቶ ማን ነው?
በእውነተኛ አይኖች ስንታይ ግን አብዛኞቻችን ማክሰኞን ነው የምንመስለው፡፡ ወይ እንደሰኞ ተጎድተን አናስተምር ወይ እንደአርብ አይተን አንማር፤ወይ ቆመን አናይ ወይ አንሮጥ፤ ወይ አናዳምጥ ወይ አንናገር፤ ከሁለት ያጣን የሁሉ ባይተዋሮች ፤ ዝም ብሎ ላስተዋለን ደግሞ ቀለም የለሽ አመድማ ፍጥረታት ነን ፡፡ ካልወደቅን መማር ካልተሰበርን መመለስ አቅቶናል ፡፡ሁላችንም አስተማሪ ሁላችንም አዋቂ በመሆናችን ተሳሳትኩ ከመዝገበ ቃላታችን ተሰርዞ ጠፍቱዋል፡፡ በዚሁ ከቀጠልን ገጣሚው እንዳለው ለሲኦል የማንመጥን ለገነት የማንበቃ ተንጠልጣይ ሰዎች እንዳንሆን እፈራለሁ፡፡ ከኛ የማይሻሉትን እያሰብን የአያቶቻችንን ተረት ተርተን ሳንጨርስ ልጆቻችን “ማክሰኞን አታድርገኝ” ብለው በኛው ላይ እንዳይተርቱብንም እሰጋለሁ፡፡
